Maasland Champignons

Recently we started up a complete new mushroom farm for Maasland Champignons in Holland

Christiaens Group was given the task to design in cooperation with the owner and construct a complete project which is as far as possible energy neutrall and labour efficient.

The sizing of the growing rooms is based on bringing full truckloads of substrate. Hydraulic harvesting lorries are implemented for optimising the labor circumstances and efficiency.

The farm makes use of heating and cooling energy from well water in combination with a heatpump system.

The construction of the farm started in June and the first room was filled middle of October. Before the summer the roof will be covered with solar panels.
